      Hope Through Education: Angela’s Journey in Makuutu, Iganga Angela, a 12-year-old orphan from a small village of Makuutu in Iganga Dsitrict, was forced to drop out of school after losing her parents. Just recently in its campaign to hunt for children that are out of school due to unfair circumstances; Ghailraella Foundation stepped in and sponsored her education, providing uniforms, books and school fees. Today, Angela is top of her class and dreams of becoming a teacher to help other children like her; Currently she is in Primary Five The support from the foundation has not only given Angela hope but has also restored her dignity and belief in a brighter future.

      From Bricklaying to Books: Moses’ Education Transformation in Kadugala, Masaka Moses, a 14-year-old boy from Kadugala, had to work as a bricklayer to support his family, which meant he couldn’t attend school. Through Ghailraella Foundation’s scholarship program, Moses was able to return to school. He now excels in mathematics and hopes to become an engineer one day. Moses is a shining example of how education can change the trajectory of a young life.

      A Father’s Dream Realized: James’ Education in Iganga James, a bright student from Iganga, almost dropped out of school due to financial hardships after his father passed away. The Ghailraella Foundation stepped in with a sponsorship program that covered his school fees and provided him with the materials he needed. Today, James is studying to become a doctor and volunteers with the foundation to help other underprivileged children access education.

      Janet’s Soap making Success in Masaka Janet, a widow from deep Kyesiiga in Masaka, struggled to provide for her three children after her husband passed away. She joined Ghailraella Foundation’s skill training program, where she learnt soap making. With the foundation’s support, Janet was able to acquire some start up capital to start her first soap making business. Today, she not only supports her family but also trains other women in the village, passing on the skills she learnt. Her story is one of transformation from despair to empowerment.

      From Vulnerability to Victory: Lydia’s Empowerment in Masaka Lydia, a single mother from Masaka, struggled to make ends meet after her husband abandoned her. Through Ghailraella Foundation’s skill development programs, she learned soap-making and was provided with the resources to start her own business. Lydia now runs her own soap-making business, which has improved her economic status and allowed her to take care of her children. Her success story has inspired many other women in her village to join the program.

      Creating Opportunities for the Disabled: Paul’s Skill Development in Nakalama, Iganga Paul, a young man living with a disability in Nakalama, had been marginalized and excluded from many opportunities. Through the Ghailraella Foundation’s skills training programs, Paul has been equipped with carpentry knowledge. He is not only a skilled carpenter but will be running his own small workshop back home. His success has inspired others in the community and he is now an good inspiration for people living with disabilities.
